Etruscan Art History

In my classes we talk about the history of Etruscans.  It is interesting because little is know about them since they were only around for a short amount of time.  We have visited museums that have artifacts of what was found in Etruscan Tombs. 

This would be on the outside of an Etruscan Tomb.

Most Etruscan Tombs are similar to this one.  Etruscans were different than other civilizations because women were just as equal to men.

The wealthier of the Etruscans could afford Tombs of marble (instead of terracotta) that would be painted.

These are artifacts that would be put in the tombs to bring to the afterlife.

The only sculpture that has been recovered from an Etruscan palace in Tarquina.

In the Etruscan Palace there was this Vitellischi painting!!
